A BIT ABOUT eVE…

Eve has lived in Hayfield all her life and endures the misfortune of being the daughter of Simon, the photographer.

She recently completed an MA in Illustration at the Manchester School of Art with distinction where she also gained a 1st class degree in Illustration with Animation.

Using a mixture of traditional and contemporary techniques, Eve creates mixed media digital illustrations inspired by old photographs and memory. Her work as artist in residence at Elephantstones Gallery focuses on the landscapes that surround Hayfield village.

Eve has exhibited works in the Royal Academy of Arts Summer Exhibition in 2017, 2018, 2021 & 2023 and has also provided visuals for a project involving film director Danny Boyle! In 2022, Eve was awarded the Derbyshire County Council award for my landscape work and also won an award from the 2022 Contemporary Collage Magazine awards.

In April 2021, Eve was selected to become an associate member of the Manchester Academy of Fine Arts after being a graduate member of the academy for three years after being awarded the MAFA Graduate Award at her Manchester School of Art BA degree show. In July 2023, she was invited to become a fully fledged member! Look out for Eve’s work in MAFA’s prestigious exhibitions across the whole of the UK.
